What type of trips do you offer?

Sebastian Saltwater provides inshore and offshore fishing charters leaving from our marina in Sebastian, FL directly across from Sebastian Inlet captained by highly experienced and professional guides. We maintain the newest fleet of boats and utilize only the best gear by the top names in fishing.

What boats are available?

Sebastian Saltwater Charters runs the newest and best equipment in the area. Our boats are fast and comfortable. Currently we are running boats from Pathfinder and Andros Boatworks from 26-32’.

Do you have lodging?

Yes, we have lodging on property consisting of studios and 2 bedroom units. Nightly rates start at $169

What do I need to bring with me if I book a trip?

Sunglasses, sunscreen (but not the spray kind, please – or use that before stepping on boat), rain gear if weather calls for it, lunch, beverages, and snacks for full day trips– friends and family.

What time should I show up for my trip?

Your Captain will organize with you 1-2 days in advance of your trip. We leave the dock as early as 5:45 for some trips.

What happens if my trip gets cancelled due to weather?

Weather can be an issue, more so offshore than inshore. If conditions are unsafe, and we cannot run your trip, don’t worry — your deposits are good for up to one year from the original trip date.

How do I reschedule trips cancelled by weather?

It’s simple. Send an email request to our booking office, or use the contact form on this website. Pick the date or a range of dates that work for you, and our booking office will update your trip, and then we send you a confirmation.

Do you pack and ship my fish?

We will clean, cut and bag the fish you catch at no charge on every trip. Transport away from the marina is up to you.

Do I need a fishing license?

No, a fishing license is included in every trip.

Can I book multiples boats or trips?

Yes, you can. Please call us direct at 772-589-2552

Is a deposit required?

Yes, we charge a 25% deposit on all charters, this goes towards the full fee. Note: Deposits are non-refundable, and are valid for transfer — only when trips are cancelled due to weather issues (good for up to one year from original date).

How / when do I pay my balance?

Pay your balance on the day of the trip – cash or credit card, at the marina office.

How much are fishing trips?

Inshore fishing starts at $450. Offshore trips start at $900.

Are there any other costs on trips?

A 20% recommended tip for the crew is additional. We also provision the boats with beer, Gatorade, and soda which may purchased. We include all gear, bait, ice, and bottled water on full day trips as well as fish cleaning and bagging. Let us know any special requests and we will do our best to make them happen!

How many people does each lodging unit sleep?

Our studios have a single queen bed and sleep 1-2 people. Our 2 bedroom units sleep up to 4 people and have a one King and one Queen bed.

What’s included in the lodging?

You get clean sheets, soap, towels, and full kitchens with utensils and coffee makers. All units are non smoking.

What time is checkin / checkout?

Checkin is 3pm; checkout is 10am.

Will I be able to return to the lodge to shower after my trip?

If you did not book the night of your trip date, then you will not be able to return for any reason. If you know you want to shower or relax after your trip, please book two nights.

What is the max number of people per boat?

We limit to 4 anglers max per boat to provide maximum enjoyment for our anglers.

How long are fishing trips?

Full day trips are 8 hours. Half day trips run 4 hours.

How far is Sebastian from Orlando?

It’s about 90 miles, and it takes between 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic, time of day, and weather conditions.

Are there restaurants or grocery stores in nearby?

Our marina has a restaurant and bar on property that can cook your catch when you return from your trip. Convenience, grocery stores, and other restaurants are all located within one mile of the property.

Do you offer package deals?

We can offer you a package rate if you want to book multiple charter trips and more than two days of lodging, use the contact form or call us direct to tell us what you want, and we can help set it up for you.

What is the best time to fish?

Fishing in our area is year round but weather dependent. We can target a variety of species depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Call us if you are looking to target a specific species.

How far in advance do I have to book?

Bookings can start to fill up 4-6 months ahead throughout the year. Popular months may fill fast. Many of our repeat customers book trips each year. Don’t wait until the last minute to book.

Do you keep a waiting list?

No, we do not. Book online, first come, first serve.

What is your refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. These are good for transfer on any weather cancelled trip. Lodging fees are refundable 24 hours in advance, if your trip was cancelled due to weather, and if you did not stay for the nights you booked – please note: You must contact the office 24 hours in advance if not checking in because of a weather cancellation.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel 30 days or more in advance your deposit is valid for transfer, and it’s good for up to one year. If you cancel 30 days or less in advance, it’s 50% charge. If you cancel 7 days or less in advance of your trip its 100% charge.
